He sniffs, shifting awkwardly on his feet as he re-aligns himself and gestures for her to follow him further in. He takes a seat at his small dining table, gesturing again for her to sit near him.
Despite being compromised of technology and from the future, he's a little old-school and he has a worn notebook and a pen that he pulls toward himself.]
You have income, right? A job? What about dependants-- submissives?
[She follows him, sitting in the indicated chair, shifting in it stiffly. Her eyes follow the movement of his pen to the paper.]
Yes. I own and manage the Red Emerald. It is a gym in the Up. I have plenty of funds.I have one Submissive. Jim Kirk. It is a rare month that I am not paying a fine for one of his citations. [There's a small smirk on her lips, tone almost proud. Clearly she doesn't mind paying those.]
[Cable scratches out notes as Nebula speaks, writing a plus sign next 'funds' and 'submissives'. At her comment, he pauses and his lips move like he might be about to nag her, but he doesn't. Best not to comment on other people's submissives when he lives in a house of Wade.]
Have you thought about how much space you'd like? Do you want to take on another contract? Do you want the freedom to, or would you prefer to keep a small house?
